Responsibilities include:
- Creative Responsibilities (what sets you apart from the pack)

- Hands-on design and implementation of new brand sites.
- Partner with Marketing to develop a web development strategy that meets corporate goals and improves overall user experience.
- Develop SEO programs to continuously optimize website and improve natural search rankings.
- Define and execute social media programs to grow and enhance our consumer relationships and audience development.
- Participate and lead organizational planning to ensure our online structure reflects changing business environments.
- Act as an in-house consultant to support teams writing RFPs for large web related projects.

- Technical Responsibilities (the nitty gritty)

- Execute daily maintenance of website and supporting databases
- Incorporate the latest technologies into the web site to ensure the highest level of customer experience
- Provide digital assets to our ecommerce partners (i.e. commercials, demo videos, product photography)
- Moderate forums and online product reviews
- Support Sales team with e-mail blast initiatives
- Perform website statistical analysis as it relates to campaigns and site traffic and make recommendations for best practices
Experience:
- Qualifications (your guru-ness)

- Bachelors degree in Technology, Information Systems, New Media, Web Design or related field.
- 5+ years of (verifiable) experience developing with web based technologies building, enhancing and maintaining websites
- Creative and graphic design skills with an understanding of DHTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, Flash as well as graphic design programs PhotoShop and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of publishing systems Expression Engine and WordPress.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies such as mySQL and UNIX a plus.
- Present ideas and designs to small and large groups with ease
- Write and edit smart and succinct RFPs in your sleep
